Because of the widespread use of VoIP, cellphones, dollar-store headsets, off-shore tech support, and noise-generating desktop devices, there has been a profound decline in the sound quality of phone conversations.

Phone users suffer through repetitions and misunderstanding. Mistakes are made, time is wasted, people are miserable.

At HeadsetHouse, we don't like this trend one bit; and are pleased to introduce Accutone headsets. They were conceived with the objective of providing HIGHER FIDELITY than other headsets -- meaning more accurate and realistic reproduction of the human voice when speaking and listening -- combined with comfort, convenience, durability, and value.

While the Accutone name may be new to you (and to us), you can be confident that the company is not a beginner who will learn at your expense. Accutone Technologies Ltd., based in Hong Kong, is a subsidiary of a company that has been making headsets, speakers and related devices since 1969. They produce Accutone-branded headsets, and also manufacture products that are marketed with other companies' labels. Accutone headsets are sold and used worldwide. The company has a strong presence in Western Europe, particularly in the United Kingdom.

The factory is ISO9001 certified, and their headsets are UL-Listed, and approved by the FCC, CE (European Union) and TUV (German technical inspection association).

In the UK, Accutone headsets are sold by BT (British Telecom, the national phone company). Conservative England took much longer than the US to permit the use of privately-owned phone equipment. BT has extremely high standards for the products it sells, like AT&T in the old days. Their endorsement of Accutone is an important vote of confidence. If BT thinks Accutone is OK, it's much more than OK -- it's very, very good.

Note from the HeadsetHouse boss: We've heard similar "hi-fi" marketing stories before. A company known for extremely good microphones and music headphones, sent us a big-buck telephone headset to evaluate. It sounded fine...until I turned on my desk lamp. The buzz in my ears was so bad it seemed like I stuck my head into a beehive. I tried an Accutone near the same lamp, and heard human voices just fine, but no bee buzzes. I particularly like the Accutone amplifier/switchbox -- it has an amazing range of adjustments that let you customize incoming and outgoing sounds. Important things that cost extra with other brands -- like AC adapters, binaural earpieces, and noise canceling microphones -- are freebies with Accutone. Free is good.
